Hi everyone!
Okay so our team has been so blessed so far: our hosts- Palabra De Vida and Helping Hands, safety, and God has been blessing us spiritually breaking chains and relieving burdens that we have all been holding on to.
I´m going to share a personal and vulnerable subject God has been revealing to me over the past week- Identity.
Thursday night God opened the offortunity through prayer with our whole team to break chains and do amazing things! We prayed for four hours and amazing things happened, some were healed for back pain and headaches, two ladies got baptized in the Holy Spirit, and every girl got individual prayer for what they specifically needed! I personally got prayer for identity in Christ. This has been an ongoing struggle for me…for my whole life. Questioning- who am I, where do I belong, What is my purpose, What is my value etc. God blessed me with the opportunity to pray out that spirit of fear and confusion and really surrender all of my worries and burdens at the foot of the cross. It was so powerful and I´m so thankful that God put me in this place at this specific time with these amazing women of God.
This is what I read yesterday which speaks such truth into my life-
1 Timothy 1:12-16
(this is Paul speaking, but it is relevant to ALL of our lives-)
I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me faithful, appointing me to his service. Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus…. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners- of who I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and recieve eternal life.
