Not Just a Friendly Traveler

Hi all!
Anna, Amanda and I had the oppurtunity to come into town today so I decided to post some of my thoughts.  As we were riding public transportation (love it) into the city I was looking at all the people that we were passing by, the homeless, the broken, the damaged…and I was just thinking- I don´t want to sit by and just smile at people….Christ has given us authority to love deeply, to preach the gospel, for Him to change others through our actions and words.  For so long, fear has dominated my choices and actions…too scared to be bold or try new things, or talk to strangers but God has been revealing to me, He did not give me a spirit of fear or timidity  but of power and love and self control (2 Tim 1-7).
Jimmy at training camp encouraged us to not just be friendly travelers, who smile at the homeless and give candy to orphans….but to radically love the ünloveable¨ to tell the orphans- there is a father for the fatherless, to give our testimonies at any chance and to be the hands and the feet.

We have about 4.5ish weeks of ministry left here in Cochabamba and our team is praying and expecting crazy things to happen.  Please pray that God is going to open doors for ministry oppurtunities to be His hands and His feet.  Not just service (which I have come to understand the humility behind service and its importance) but also oppurtunities to feed the hungry, pray for the sick, and give hope for the hopeless.

Thanks for all your support and prayers, we are so blessed for our prayer warriors at home consistently interceeding for us!
