A Poem in Honor of Public Transportation

I have decided to write a poem in honor of our taxi adventures of the week.  *Ahem*

Taxi Trufi

Taxi Trufi you are our friend

You take us to town and back again

What is a speed limit?

I guess you don´t know

Holy crap, a llama in the middle of the road

“Pare” is the word for stop

It was on that sign

I barely got a glimpse of it as we zoomed on by

Are there lanes on this road?

There definitely are

Duck and cover ladies, two trucks are coming coming towards our car!

How many people can fit in a little Toyota?

Nine, with the guy that just entered the car solo

Hold your horses, it´s nine and a half

That guy brought his chicken (the girls and I laughed)

Anna and Jessica are sharing a seat

Then again, so are Callie, Amanda and me

What is this circle we´re coming to?

A roundabout, dear Lord, there´s nothing to hold onto!

A sheep, a dog, 17 trucks and a man

I think we survived, oh no hold your breathe again

Guy with the cart, cow, you better move

We´re coming to a stop at the market, *few*…

Taxi Trufi, you´re so much fun

Just kidding, you made us all have to make a bathroom run
