Hola Bolivia!

I have arrived! After almost 24 hours of traveling from van to airport to plane and so on we have finally settled here in Cochabamba! This past week has already been a blessing in so many ways. God has brought me here to the beautiful country safely and has surrounded me with a team of 7 wonderful ladies. Each one has been so encouraging and inspiring to my faith and we all have already been blown away by the work God ha done in our lives. Our second night here we had an amazing time of prayer that lasted for hours. Through that time God has given me a peace about being...

Uh Oh…

Uh Oh… that is how I have been feeling over the past couple of days. The second night we were challenged to surrender something that was holding us back from God´s best. As I was praying God really laid on my heart that I need to surrender my plans. My plans and expectations that I have created for my life. The things I expected to accomplish, the places I expected to live and the jobs I expected to have. All of my plans I laid at the foot of the cross. God has been asking me to surrender my whole life for a long time… It is as if I have...

What Had Happened Was…

Day 2 in Cochabamba…   What was supposed to be just a team meeting with some prayer turned into a night of the Holy Spirit moving radically!!!  We started with the talk of spiritual warfare then began to pray for our home to be protected from any spiritual attack.  The Holy Spirit came in and took over from there.  We prayed for about an hour but were interupted by having to go to dinner.   After dinner Calie shared her testimony, which was quite powerful.  We then prayed for her.  I then asked for prayer for my back which was in a lot of pain from...

We Are Here!

We have arrived in Cochababmba!  There were moments that seemed like we may not have it easy to get to the next point.  Like one of the girls not having her yellow fever card but thankfully no one asked us for one to having a plane arrive late and having less than 30 minutes to go through customs, check in and jump on the next plane but we did it!   When we arrived to the camp at whcih we will be staying for the next two months, we were all shocked.  This camp is gorgeous and our dorm rooms are amazing.  God has definetely blessed us.   There will be another...

Reaching the Reached – Atlanta

It has only been four hours sense we were been thrown into a crazy adventure of meeting our teammates and having to navigate our way downtown from the airport with only 18 dollars in cash, and, by now, we had already listened to the AIM leaders speak, had “team time” and worshiped with Matt as our leader.     Our team’s responsibility for the night is to walk the streets of downtown Atlanta and bring the fire of God.    After spending some time crammed in the SafeHouse (our home for the first night of homeless ministry) and listening to the...
