This past week we had a team from Georgia come and do ministry beside us. At first I was a little nervous because our team has developed a rhythem and we are comfortable with each other etc. But the team from Georgia opened up so many oppurtunities for us. Just talking to them and sharing what Christ has done in our lives was so awesome.
Since this week was so packed with mini ministry oppurtunities so the GA team could get a taste of Cochabamba, I wasn´t really focused on our short ministry oppurtunities but God taught me that He is a global God and he showed me this through making relationships with a lot of different people this week.
This week we made relationships with a lot of the CED (bible college) students and I had the oppurtunity to talk with them about how God has worked in their life and do ministry beside them. Just getting to know who they are, how their families are etc was so incredible! Also I met a guy from Britain who came down to Cochabamba for three months just to love on kids and do ministry and also a girl from California who decided to be bold and come down here by herself and do ministry for a month. Also two nights ago we ate dinner with the missionaries on Palabra De Vida´s campus and Margaret and I sat with two missionaries who are amazing and I´m excited to get to know them better.
Even though I speak broken spanglish and these people were raised in completley different cultures then I was we are united by our love and passion for our amazing God and missions. We are family and I´m so thankful for the oppurtunity to be down here, sharing life with these other amazing 7 girls along with meeting other missionaries in Cochabamba.
God is making my heart so big for Cochabama, I fall more in love with it and its people everyday. I fall more in love with Christ everyday for being a God of the nations and creating everyone so different but being united because Christ´s love is universal.
God is awesome.
